Biographical Information:

Jan Riemersma was born in the Netherlands on July 31, 1857. Riemersma immigrated to the United States and enrolled in Calvin Theological Seminary. He graduated in 1884. In the same year he was ordained at the church of Rochester, New York. He went on to serve congregations of North St., Zeeland, MI (1890-1891); First, Chicago, IL (1893-1899); Sioux Center, IA (1899). He was deposed in 1899. He passed away on March 26, 1930 in Sioux Center, Iowa.
