Name: Valentine Hepp (1879-1950)

Historical Note: Professor of theology at the Free University of Amsterdam, Valentine Hepp, gave his Stone Lectures on Calvinism and the Philosophy of Nature at Princeton Theological Seminary in 1930. This lecture promoted a total rethinking of the Earth’s age in geological terms. Hepp became faculty at Free University in 1922.
