The William Fridsma Collection is comprised of a folder of letters written to home while in the military during World War II.

Collection Historical Note

William Fridsma was born in either 1928 or 1927 in Midland Park, New Jersey. After graduating high school, he moved to Bellflower, California where he worked in the Post Office until he went into the army in 1945. Most of his army career was as a postal clerk in Attu, Alaska.
