Biographical Note

Jacob "Jack" Anthony Vander Heide was born in Hospers, Iowa on July 25, 1915. In 1993, at the age of 78, Vander Heide became a resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan. On April 16, 2003 Vander Heide passed away at the age of 87 in Comstock Park, Michigan. He was survived by his twin brother Tony (Nancy), and sister Henriette Hofstra.
