Abstract
The First Protesting Christian Reformed Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan, was incorporated in 1926; amended to the First Protestant Reformed Church in 1927; conferred by articles of association to the First Orthodox Protestant Reformed Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1961 (via Name Committee in 1956); dissolved in 1962; and assumed by Sherman Street Christian Reformed Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The collection includes consistory and council minutes (restricted); correspondence; Sunday school, Mission Board, and congregational minutes; young people; Priscilla; Ladies’ Aid; and Mr. and Mrs. Society minutes; and materials regarding the legal actions of this church.
