Biographical Note

Marenus J. Beukema was born 9 January 1912. He lived in Grand Rapids and graduated from Calvin College. His parents were Clara C. and John Beukema. He married Dr. Anne H. Vanderwall 31 May 1935. He enlisted in the Army 4 August 1944 and was released on 16 November 1946. His children and their spouses are John and Caroline Beukema, Richard and Maxine Beukema, James Jr. and Denice Beukema, and William and Clare Deurloo. He died in 1998.
