Abstract

The collection includes a scrapbook with periodical clippings regarding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Biographical Note

Librarian at Calvin College, 1958-1968. Buurstra along with Professor Corrine Kass were responsible for creating the Curriculum Center for the Education Department in 1963. In 1968, Buurstra accepted a position with the Michigan State Library.
