Abstract

Calvin College student in the late 1920s. Notes taken in courses given by William Harry Jellema, philosophy; John Van Haitsma, biology; Henry Van Zyl, education; and papers prepared for the Plato Club and Jellema's philosophy course.

Biographical Note

John A. Bolt was born 4 May 1905 in Prinsburg, MN. He was a Calvin College graduate in 1929. He was married to Edna J. Vermeulen on 19 October 1958; their children were Robert and Betty. He was a chemist and he also worked as the Director of Research for the American Oil Company.  He died on 18 May 1992.
