Abstract
Calvin graduate, and graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana; and employee of Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company (PPG). The collection includes high school and college yearbooks; notebooks of business trips to Japan, Europe, and Australia; his dissertation, diplomas, degrees, and honors; photographs; retirement materials; and histories of PPG and of Calvin College.
Biographical Note
(1914 - 1951)
Pierson was born in Michigan in 1914 as was his sister Vera in 1911.
Pierson G. Boermans's mother was Minnie and his father was Jacob Boermans. His parents were born in the Netherlands. Pierson graduated from Calvin College with a BA in 1937; he also attended Indiana University. He worked at Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. He died 30 August 1951.
