Abstract

Prominent layman of the Christian Reformed Church in the Chicago area. The manuscripts are entitled "History of the Christian School at Roseland," "Model Constitution for Parental Christian Schools," "History of Roseland and Vicinity," and "Christian School Movement in Michigan, 1925-1926."

Biographical Note

Son of Arie H Dekker and Alice Schoon, Simon Dekker was born on February 21, 1854. Dekker married Antje De Jong. Together they had six children-Harry, Henry, Abram, Peter, Katie, and Alice. Dekker passed away on November 14, 1947 in Roseland, Illinois.
