Employee of Lunham & Reeve, a shipping company in New York; an amateur ship historian; and secretary-treasurer of the Committee in the East on Historical Documents of the Christian Reformed Church (Eastern Historical Committee). The collection includes clippings and correspondence detailing emigration, immigration, and genealogy; and a series of articles published in De Wachter entitled "Van Schepen ter Zee."
