Abstract

Professor of theology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Free University of Amsterdam). The collection includes bound manuscripts of class lecture notes on general dogmatism and the history of dogmatism which were used in the course at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Biographical Note

Professor of theology at the Free University of Amsterdam, Valentine Hepp, gave his Stone Lectures on Calvinism and the Philosophy of Nature at Princeton Theological Seminary in 1930. This lecture promoted a total rethinking of the Earth’s age in geological terms. Hepp became faculty at Free University in 1922.
