Renzina Stob was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 26, 1895. When Renzina was a year old, the Stob family moved to Raymond, Minnesota. She attended a Christian High School and then went off to study at Calvin College to pursue a degree in education. Once she graduated from Calvin, Stob accepted a teaching position at the Englewood Christian School in Chicago. In 1916 Stob received another appointment, this time it was to teach in Toadlena, New Mexico for children of the missionary. She also would help Rev. L. P. Brink in his missionary work.
By 1919, Stob left Toadlena to go to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, only to leave two months later to return to New Mexico. Rehoboth was in urgent need for a teacher and Stob accepted the call. Stob would remain in New Mexico until her retirement in 1965. Once she retired at the age 70 she moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Even during her retirement, Stob found ways to serve others. Since Stob was a skilled sewer, she made garments for the needy. At one point she made 140 garments for charity in one year!
After suffering from an illness, Renzina Stob passed away on July 13, 1977.
