Professor of English at Dordt College (Sioux Center, Iowa). The collection includes a paper entitled "Burning the Wooden Shoes: an oral history approach to ethnicity in the Christian Reformed Church in North America," articles, stories, and tributes.

Biographical Note

James C. Schaap is an emeritus professor of English at Dordt College and author. Schaap became a member of the honorary literary group the Chrysostom Society in 1996. Some books he is best known for in the CRC community are A Family Album: The Unfinished Story of the Christian Reformed Church and Rehoboth: A Place for Us.
