The Kramer Family papers include correspondence between relatives and friends. There are letters regarding World War I from the perspective of civilians (Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Massachusetts) and armed forces (Camp Custer, Camp Merritt, Naval Detachment Proving Grounds, and Montierchaume, France). The letters comment on daily routines and events in the community, family, and friends.
