Businessman. The collection includes seven scrapbooks with assorted clippings detailing animals, people, scenery, and buildings.

Grand Rapids, Michigan, resident. The collection includes a scrapbook with clippings detailing Calvin College, Christian Reformed Church, and related organizations.

Minister of the Christian Reformed Church. The collection includes poems, songs, sermons, and speeches for special occasions (in the Dutch, Frisian, and English languages); an autobiography written in poetic form, recalling childhood years in Friesland, the Netherlands, the emigration of the family to America, his studies for the ministry, and an account of the churches which he served; plus a letter written (author unknown) describing early Dutch settlement in Michigan (1847).

Missionary teacher at the W. M. Bristow Secondary School in Gboko, Nigeria (Sudan United Mission). The collection includes correspondence, journals, clippings, photographs, Nigerian money, and three pamphlets on Nigeria.

Professor of teacher education at Calvin College. The collection includes biographical information, diplomas, a research report entitled "Study of Undergraduate Elementary Teacher Education in Michigan Teacher Education Institutions," bulletins regarding teacher certification, and an article.

Poet. The collection includes scrapbooks with periodical clippings detailing early Christian Reformed church buildings, and poems published in The Banner.
