The collection includes a book entitled Overisel, Michigan: An American Immigrant Community in the Late Nineteenth Century; a thesis, "Dutch Immigrant Women in the Late Nineteenth Century, a Comparative Analysis," submitted to the Kent State University for the degree of master of arts, 1983; an article in American Studies, "Give Us This Day: Dutch Immigrant Women in Two Protestant Denominations, 1880-1920;" a paper on gender roles in Dutch-American immigrant households; and her PhD dissertation, "Home is where you build it: Dutch immigrant women in the United States, 1880-1920."
