Henry J.G. Van Andel Collection

Professor of Dutch language, literature, history, and art at Calvin College. The collection includes class notes; correspondence; lecture notes; student papers; chapel talk; addresses; conference papers; papers regarding the Conference on Augustian Thought; post-Renaissance picture files detailing Dutch art; Dutch-language study records; reports and correspondence regarding immigration; and a paper entitled "Meditations and Reflections of H. J. Blacquiere." Professor Van Andel's papers reflect a wide variety of interests, a creative intellects, a consuming love for his native land, the Netherlands, and his sincere dedication to his church and Calvin College.
