The collection includes address given at Calvin Seminary for the opening of the school year, 1905; a translation of a historical account written in Dutch and published in Het Jaarboekje of 1908, entitled "A Short Historical Account of What Happened at the Christian Reformed Church in Vriesland, Michigan"; three bound manuscripts of H. Beuker's class lectures; and pamphlets.

Rev. John Henry Stek (1925 – 2009) was a pastor, bible scholar and translator, and professor of Old Testament Studies at Calvin Theological Seminary who was instrumental in the creation of the New Living Version (NIV) of the bible. This collection contains Stek’s teaching notes on the Old Testament as well as articles, correspondence, and sermons about the bible, catechism, and teaching.
